      Hey Elder-friend!

      Cantonese has 9 tones and it was the Ancient language of China, not Mandarin. Cantonese has a long standing history.

      I would recommend you watch some films in Cantonese that really inspired Hollywood movies. i’ll illuminate three:

      – Infernal Affairs (which inspired Martin Scorsesee’s “The Departed”, lots of striking similarities)
      – Bruce Lee’s “Fist of Fury”
      – Stephen Chow’s “God Of Gamblers”
