xenu is a long-time community member of the Monero project. Initially a lurker, he adopted the pseudonym while promoting the beloved grassroots Monerochan art project, which today serves as the unofficial brand mascot of Monero. In fact, much of the original content reposted on social media to this day was commissioned directly by xenu in the early days of the /XMR/ General. In April 2021, after being encouraged by a friend to join Twitter to combat Bitcoin maximalists, xenu slowly built a following of digital cash advocates due to his niche expertise on darknet market growth and the adoption of Monero. Realizing that he had more to offer than brief messages on Twitter, he launched the video content channel Anti Moonboy in October 2024, a brand focused on providing educational content about digital cash without any elements of price speculation. His first series, Attack of the Poisoned Outputs, is a comprehensive breakdown of how Monero works and how chain analysis companies can undermine it, covering relevant topics such as flooding attacks, timing analysis, and KYC metadata leakage. He later launched Anti Moonboy News, a weekly podcast featuring news and commentary about peer-to-peer cash and freedom technology. And, in the coming months, he will release Darknet Market Maximalism, a manifesto that summarizes the detrimental moonboy culture that has eroded the soul of cryptocurrency.
